Students’ Seminar Inspires Talent, Branding and Purpose at AUI’s 2025 Students’ Week

As part of the 2025 Students’ Week commemorating the 10th Anniversary of Augustine University, the University hosted a dynamic Students’ Seminar today, bringing together young minds for a session of inspiration, motivation, and practical learning.

The seminar featured two keynote speakers who addressed vital areas in personal development and creative enterprise.

The University Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Andrew Toye, opened the session with a presentation on passion to making it big with talents. He encouraged students to nurture their gifts, develop their skills, and pursue productivity with faith, focus, and passion. According to him, success is not just about talent, but about the consistent drive to turn that talent into value.

Diekoloreoluwa David Afolayan, a star in the digital branding space and the son of legendary Nigerian filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, followed with an engaging session on branding and content creation.

He shared real-life strategies for building personal brands, finding one’s niche in the creative space, and sustaining visibility in an ever-competitive digital world. His talk was both practical and empowering, especially for students exploring content entrepreneurship and online influence.

The seminar, held at the University Convocation Hall, attracted an enthusiastic audience and underscored the university’s commitment to developing well-rounded students, both intellectually and creatively.

The Students’ Seminar is just one of the many enriching events scheduled in the ongoing Students’ Week, themed around celebration, creativity, and purpose in honour of AUI’s 10 years of excellence.
