Augustine University, ICAN Commit to Strengthening Existing Collaboration 

Augustine University, Ilara-Epe on Friday, 18th August, 2023 hosted a high-powered delegation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Epe and Districts Society. 

The delegation led by the Chairman, Mrs. H.M Deile, announced the visit was to introduce the new executives of the District to the University Management, adding that the new executives desire to initiate a continued working partnership that would see the two institutions building skills and expanding the frontiers of learning.

She explained that the partnership arrangement would include how to improve the quality and increase the number of students who register for ICAN certification in the Institution by bringing an ICAN examination center to the University. 

Welcoming the ICAN team, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Christopher Odetunde said that the University is committed to the continuous professional development of all its students.

Professor Odetunde commended the Institute's laudable role in positioning students to operate at a higher level of professionalism.

The meeting had in attendance, the Registrar, Mrs. Margaret Aziba, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Anthony Adewale, OP the Acting Bursar, Mrs. Mary Ajibulu, Head of Departments, Accounting & Finance, Dr. Theophilus Aguguom, Mrs. Ogechi Morakinyo, and Mr. Hashim Akintona.
