Augustine University commenced online learning for her students on Monday, 27 April, 2020 as part of efforts to ensure continuation of learning and minimal disruption to the academic calendar in spite of  COVID-19 lockdown. The e-learning platforms have been made accessible to students in the comfort of their homes.

The Information, Communication and Technology Unit of the University has worked hard over the past few weeks to ensure the learning process is seamless, having held online tutorials for staff and students to familiarize them with the workings of the platforms for e-learning.

The platforms make provision for video conferencing, slide sharing and delivery of assignments. They also cover interactive sessions between students and teachers.

Nothing can fully replace physical teaching obviously, but Augustine University has ensured through these platforms that students have a semblance of normalcy, as much as virtual platforms would allow, thereby preventing prolonged loss of time, at all levels.
