The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council of Augustine University Ilara-Epe, Chief Gilbert T. Grant, visited the campus on the 24th of October, 2017.

The visit was timed at inspecting the newly acquired equipment for the laboratories of the Faculties of Science and Humanities Management and Social Sciences in readiness for the forthcoming accreditation exercise.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Steve Afolami, in the company of the Registrar, Mrs. Margaret Aziba and the Acting Director of Works and Services Unit, Engineer Tunde Bello, welcomed the Pro-Chancellor and proceeded to the Faculties for the inspection tour.

The Heads of Department of the Departments of English and the Biological Sciences as well as Chemical Sciences were on ground to explain the functions of the state of the art equipment newly installed in the Language Laboratory, the Microbiology and Biochemistry Laboratories.

Chief Grant expressed his happiness at the state of the University and the Faculties and made known his optimism that the departments would pass the accreditation exercises, when they are visited by the National Universities Council (NUC) accreditation teams.

He further thanked the Vice-Chancellor for his able leadership and urged everyone to keep at their best in service delivery to humanity.

He assured the University of the continuous support of the Proprietor of the University and the entire Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos.
