Augustine University, Ilara-Epe, Lagos State, has announced the appointment of three members of its academic community to key leadership positions within the University, with the appointments taking effect today, Monday, 28th September, 2026.

The newly appointed academic leaders are:

Professor Adelodun Kolapo — Dean, Faculty of Science and Professor of Microbiology.
Professor Ibidapo Akinyemi — Dean, Postgraduate School and Professor of Computer Science.
Dr. Amarachukwu Obayiuwana — Acting Head, Department of Biological Sciences and Associate Professor of Microbiology.

In their respective capacities, the appointees will provide academic and administrative leadership while contributing to the continued advancement of their faculties, departments and the broader University community.

Augustine University congratulates the three appointees on their new responsibilities and wishes them wisdom, excellence and a successful tenure as they serve the University in their respective capacities.
